How Every Job Starts
Regardless of which service is being carried out, the process begins the same way: the watch is examined, the findings are noted, and a written assessment is shared with you before any disassembly takes place. You decide whether to proceed.
This structure means you always know what is planned, what it will cost, and approximately how long it will take. Nothing begins until you are satisfied with the picture.
Initial Examination
Visual and mechanical review of the piece to understand condition and scope.
Written Assessment
Findings and planned work shared with the owner in writing. No obligation to proceed.
Careful Execution
Work carried out at a pace appropriate to the complexity of the piece.
Record & Return
Service document issued at collection. The watch leaves with a written account of everything done.
Service 01
Routine Servicing & Cleaning
Careful disassembly of the movement, ultrasonic cleaning of components, fresh lubrication, and regulation to keep timekeeping steady. Suited to quartz and mechanical pieces due for periodic care. Includes gasket inspection and a written record of the work carried out.
Includes
- Full movement disassembly
- Ultrasonic cleaning of individual components
- Fresh lubrication at all specified points
- Multi-position timing regulation
- Gasket inspection
- Written service record
Typical Timeline
7 – 14 days, depending on movement type and current workshop schedule.
Service 02
Case & Dial Refinishing
Gentle case polishing, crystal replacement, and dial detailing that respects the original character of the piece. A measured approach focused on preserving rather than over-restoring. Includes a pre-work assessment so the owner can review the planned steps first.
Includes
- Pre-work surface assessment & owner review
- Gentle case polishing — angular lines preserved
- Crystal replacement (mineral or sapphire)
- Dial detailing and cleaning
- Crown and pushers inspection
- Written assessment and service record
Typical Timeline
7 – 14 days. Exact duration depends on the level of surface work required.
Service 03
Complication & Heritage Overhaul
Full overhaul of chronographs, calendars, and older calibers, with component refurbishment where parts allow. A longer, methodical process for cherished and vintage timepieces. Documented stage by stage so the owner understands each decision.
Includes
- Full disassembly of base movement and complications
- Component-level inspection and refurbishment
- Parts sourcing discussion where originals unavailable
- Stage-by-stage owner communication
- Extended timing observation post-service
- Detailed stage-by-stage service record
Typical Timeline
3 – 6 weeks. The timeline is set by the movement's condition and parts availability.

Across All Services
Shared Standards
Protocols and practices that apply to every piece, regardless of which service is being carried out.
Secure Individual Logging
Each piece is logged by serial reference on arrival and tracked through the workshop until collection.
Correct Lubricant Grades
Different movement parts require different lubricants — applied in correct quantities at specified points, not applied generally.
Written Record Standard
A service document is issued at collection for every completed job. This record forms part of the watch's ongoing history.
Owner Consent Before Work
Nothing proceeds without a shared assessment and owner decision. The first step is always a conversation, not an assumption.
Climate-Stable Storage
All pieces in service are stored in a controlled environment — away from humidity extremes and direct heat.
Post-Service Rate Monitoring
Mechanical movements are observed over several days after regulation before the piece is returned, to confirm stability.
